Garden City Mall

Garden City Mall is part of Kenya's first integrated residential, retail and office (mixed-use) development. We are one of Nairobi’s largest malls offering shoppers a wide selection of International and best Kenyan brands.

The 1st phase of Garden City Mall opened its doors to the public on 28th May 2015 with 33,500 square meters of retail space. Garden City Mall is anchored by Carrefour Market. The other shops available at Garden City include; TACC Store, Victoria Courts, Safaricom, Samsung, Authorized Apple reseller Salute iWorld, Art caffe, Mambo Italia, KFC, Java and Big Square.

All the shops and eateries at Garden City are arranged around light and airy terraces overlooking the Central Park. The Gardens at Garden City are designed for the whole family to enjoy, including a Children’s playground and Water Fountain Play-park, and featuring Public Art Installations by Kenyan artist. The Garden City Grounds include an Amphitheater, located in the park for small events and function. We are located between Exit 7 and Exit 8 on the Thika Superhighway, only 15 minutes’ drive away from Nairobi’s CBD, from westlands, or from Runda.Sustainability is a big factor in the design and planning of the project. The solar panelled carport on the roof of the mall (offering shaded parking to our visitors) is one of the largest example of its kind in Africa. The modern mall is light and airy – the design throughout makes use of natural light, clear glass and fresh air ventilation. Parking ratios are among the highest in Nairobi at approximately four spaces per 100 square meters of retail area.
